Active 2015-2018, this network provided an inter-disciplinary home for Nordic studies at Oxford. The primary focus was to examine the critical tensions existing in the notion of a European centre and Nordic periphery, bringing together researchers in the history and culture of the Nordic countries. The Nordic Research and Monitoring Network (Nordic Monitor) is run by a group of professionals who are composed of veteran journalists, security specialists, and investigators.
